Omar Ali Khan is a director and writer that currently lives in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. He is currently pursuing a degree in directing. In 2019, Omar directed his first documentary, Blue Screen, where he offered a closer look at the struggles of producing films in Malaysia. He wrote the script for short films like Diam (2020) and Deja Vu (2021). He was also credited for his work in Kuman Picture’s latest sci-fi thriller feature film, Ceroboh (2021). His goal is to produce more memorable horror films in Malaysia and extend beyond the repetitive storytelling with villains like ‘Pontianak’ and ‘Kuntilanak’.
